Meet the Teacher
Dear LFCS Parents,
I am thrilled to be part of your child's education this year! This is my 15th year teaching and 7th year with Literacy First Charter Schools. I received two Bachelor Degrees in Education and Spanish from San Diego State University.
My passion in the classroom is to create an atmosphere where all students feel safe, welcomed, nurtured, loved, and cherished.
My personal mission statement is:
Live in Love
Because I love and care for my students, my mission is to motivate, inspire, and support them by providing a nurturing environment, to educate them socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy the outdoors, spend quality time with family and friends, cooking, travel the world, camping, star gazing, photography, going to the movies, eating yummy food, and volunteering in my community.
I am honored to have the opportunity to teach your child and look forward to a FABULOUS year!
